2008 Bowling Green Police Department - Regional Explorer Competition

On Saturday, September 13, 2008,
four Louisville Metro Police Explorers attended the 2008 Bowling Green Police Department – Regional Explorer Competition in Bowling
Green, Kentucky. Nine other explorer posts participated in the competition; seven from Kentucky, one from Georgia and one from Ohio.
The competition consisted of eight different
scenarios and trophies were awarded for first through third place
for each. The judges for the competition were Police Officers
with the Bowling Green Police Department.

On Saturday, July 28, 2007,
nine Louisville Metro Police Explorers attended the 2007 Bowling Green Police Department – Regional Explorer Competition in Bowling
Green, Kentucky. Four other Kentucky explorer posts participated in the competition.
The competition consisted of seven different
scenarios and trophies were awarded for first through third place
for each. The judges for the competition were Police Officers
with the Bowling Green Police Department.

five Louisville Metro Police Explorers attended the 2006 Villa Hills Police Department – Regional Explorer Competition in Villa
Hills, Kentucky. Ten other explorer posts participated in the competition, two from Kentucky, seven from Ohio and one from Connecticut.
The competition consisted of seven different
scenarios and trophies were awarded for first through third place
for each as well as for the overall competition. The judges for the competition were Department of Criminal Justice Training
(DOCJT) Instructors from Richmond, Kentucky.
